BLIND GUARDIAN: Listening Party Report, Photos Available

BLIND GUARDIAN vocalist Hansi Kürsch and lead guitarist André Olbrich were the guests of honor at the "listening party" for their upcoming release, "A Twist in the Myth", on Monday, August 21 at the Lit Lounge in New York City.

BLIND GUARDIAN's first studio album in four years, "A Twist in the Myth" will be available for streaming in its entirety on AOL Music beginning August 29 and will available in stores in North America on September 5.

BLIND GUARDIAN recently completed a video for "Another Stranger Me". When asked why the band chose that particular track, vocalist Hansi Kürsch responded, "Because it's a very unusual song for BLIND GUARDIAN. It has a very vivid power and it's very straightforward. This song is about a schizophrenic person who discovers his multiple 'eyes' and tries to find a way out. We try to transfer this to the detective [character] who just figured that he’s being hunted by several very vigilant persons and he tries to get out of that desperate situation. The other selves, the other 'eyes' in the story, they are very vicious and do not have any intentions to live on a peaceful status with the detective. They're just fooling him and trying to make him a lunatic — which he is already."
